Automated Voice Announcements

A synthesized voice calling out each player's name, base price, and final sold amount over the hall PA — as a complement to, not a replacement for, a human auctioneer — is a feature organizers occasionally ask about. It's on our roadmap but not part of the product today; auctioneers currently do all of the calling themselves.

Why organizers use this

  • Would reinforce what's on screen with an audio announcement for the room
  • Would help larger halls where not everyone can see the screen clearly
  • Would work alongside, not replace, the human auctioneer's role

Typical use cases

  • A large hall where back-row attendees rely on audio as much as the screen
  • A tournament wanting a more broadcast-style production feel

Frequently asked questions

Is Automated voice announcements available today?
Automated voice announcements is on our roadmap and not yet shipped. We would rather tell you that upfront than have you discover it mid-auction — ask our team for the current build status before you plan your event around it.
Does the auction currently have any audio features?
No, the current console and displays are visual — sold and bid updates appear on screen, and the auctioneer handles all verbal announcements.
Would this replace the auctioneer?
No, the intent is to complement the human auctioneer's calling, particularly for reinforcing sold prices audibly, not to automate the auctioneer's role entirely.
