Roadmap— Planned — today, share the registration link directly.
QR Code Player Registration
Printing a QR code on a tournament poster or ground banner so walk-in players can scan and register instantly is a natural extension of our existing registration link — it's planned, but we haven't shipped a dedicated QR generator inside the product yet.
Why organizers use this
- Would remove the need to type or share a long URL at the ground
- Would work well on printed posters, banners, and society noticeboards
- Would still route into the same approval workflow that exists today
Typical use cases
- A housing society auction with a notice board at the gate
- A ground-side registration desk collecting walk-in entries on the last day
Frequently asked questions
- Is QR code registration available today?
- QR code registration is on our roadmap and not yet shipped. We would rather tell you that upfront than have you discover it mid-auction — ask our team for the current build status before you plan your event around it.
- How do I get similar convenience today?
- Generate a QR code for your registration link using any free QR generator and print it — the link itself already works from a phone browser, so the destination page functions correctly even before native QR support ships.
- Will QR registration require the CAP app?
- No app is planned — it would open the same web-based registration form that already works on any phone browser today.
