Fixture Scheduling for Tournaments

Once your auction produces final squads, the obvious next step is a match schedule — who plays whom, on which ground, on which date. We plan to generate that directly from the same team data used in the auction, but fixture generation isn't part of the product yet.

Why organizers use this

  • Would use the exact teams and squads already created during the auction
  • Would support both league and knockout formats
  • Would remove a separate spreadsheet step organizers currently maintain by hand

Typical use cases

  • A round-robin box cricket league needing a fair fixture list across 6-8 teams
  • A knockout tournament that needs a bracket generated right after the auction concludes

Frequently asked questions

Is Fixture scheduling available today?
Fixture scheduling is on our roadmap and not yet shipped. We would rather tell you that upfront than have you discover it mid-auction — ask our team for the current build status before you plan your event around it.
How do organizers build fixtures today?
Most export the final team list from CAP's results page and build the schedule manually in a spreadsheet or an external scheduling tool.
Will fixtures account for ground availability?
That's part of the planned scope — matching fixtures to ground and date constraints — but details aren't finalized yet.
